When will Jesus Come Again?

The Bible is full of promises that God will send His son, Jesus, back to the earth for a very special purpose.  He is to come and set up a new world order  a new and universal kingdom.  No longer will there be countless nations, constantly at war, or at least bickering with one another.  No longer will there be suffering and death, for also he will have to power to grant everlasting life - to some not all.  For only those who have dedicated their lives to him in the way he laid down will be rewarded in this way.  With this wonderful prospect in mind, we might well ask,  "How soon is he coming?".  The Bible answer is that it might be sooner than you think!

Every day the world faces a new crisis.  We stumble from one problem to another.  In the Bible we read in Luke chapter 21:
"...when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified...nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and great earthquakes shall be in different places, and famines, and pestilences;  and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven...and there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars;  and upon the earth distress of nations with perplexity;  the sea and the waves roaring;  men's hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth;  for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud, with power and great glory"

We only need to look around us to see that these are words for today.  Earthquakes, floods, famine, pollution, global warming, fear.  This is a message for us.  Coupled with other Bible signs and prophecies it convinces us that Jesus will come soon.
